As Australians we celebrate the 103rd anniversary of our national flag on the 3rd September. Our flag was judged from a public competition in 1901 that attracted 32,823 entries.

Our flag is the nation’s unifying symbol and reflects the historical circumstances, values and sacrifices of those who made us what we are.

I know that you will fly the flag with pride thinking of our past whilst imagining our nation’s future.
